How to dry mushrooms by hot air circulation drying room

How to dry mushrooms by hot air circulation drying room?

Mushrooms are prone to mildew and rot under the bad weather. Drying mushrooms by sun and air may lose more nutrients with poor appearance, low quality. Therefore, using drying room to dehydrate mushrooms is a good choice.

The process of dehydrating mushrooms in a drying room:
1.Preparation. As requested, the mushrooms could be divided into uncut stems, half-cut stems and fully-cut stems.
2.Pickup. Impurities and mushrooms that are broken, moldy and damaged should be picked out.
3.Drying. Mushrooms should be flatly placed on the tray, 2~3kg loaded per tray. Fresh mushrooms should be picked in the same batch as much as possible. Mushrooms of different batches should be dried in times or separate rooms. Similar size mushrooms dried in the same batch is beneficial to improve the drying consistency.

Cautions:
1. When the material cannot fill the drying room, the flat layer should be filled as much as possible to prevent the hot air from short-circuiting.
2. For preserving heat and saving energy, it should be set dehumidified at intervals when the humidity is greater than 40%.
3. Inexperienced operators can observe the drying situation of the material at any time through the observation window to determine the moisture removal operation. Especially in the later stage of drying, operators must observe at all times to avoid under-drying or over-drying.
4. During the drying process, if there is a big difference in the drying degree between the top and bottom, left and right, operators need to reverse the tray.
5. Since different materials have different drying characteristics, the customer can consult the manufacturer for specific drying operation techniques.
6. After drying, the materials should be spread out and cooled in a dry place as soon as possible.
